Full time Clerk of Works Role
Due to the success of our service, Markhams seeking another permanent Clerk of Works. As an established Quantity Surveying and Cost Consultancy practice, primarily acting as Employer’s Agent on new build housing projects for Registered Social Landlords, we are seeking a Clerk of Works to join our Team and provide a Quality Assurance/Quality Assessment role on various residential developments. Projects will be primarily based in North West England.
The ideal candidate for this role will:-
– Be computer literate
– Have experience using a range of Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word etc.)
– Be able to produce electronic weekly reports
– Have a full UK Driving License and a car
– Have excellent communication skills
– Be able to develop relationships with other Project Team members
– Be experienced in the construction industry
– Have advanced knowledge and experience of Construction
Methods, Technologies, Regulations and Contracts (JCT)
– Have significant experience providing Clerk of Works services
on new build developments (preferably for Housing Association clients)
– Be a member of The Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectorate (ICWCI), Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), or equivalent
